Lady Gaga Goes Bald
During the middle of a Lady Gaga performance on The Paul O’Grady chat show in the UK, Gaga promptly removed a light green wig from her head revealing a bald scalp.
The singer removed the wig for the performance of her new song, ironically titled ‘Hair’, which is a track on her new album Born This Way. After the rendition, Gaga promptly placed the wig back on her head and sat down with the host to discuss the new album.
Twitter users picked up on the performance and ‘Bald Gaga’ quickly appeared as a top trend. Gaga has fashioned just about every hairstyle and color imaginable over the past three years and had to find a new way to be creative.
At first glance it does not appear as though she has gone the way of Britney Spears and shaved her scalp on a whim. Her hair was likely pulled into a skullcap to give the bald appearance.
A statement has not yet been made from the Gaga team confirming if her hair has been cut. If it has, it will be just another fashion statement in a long line of head-turning appearances for the pop star.
